Supervision

Congratulations on Graduation!

There are some serious hurdles behind you: college, grad school, practicum, licensing exam. The only thing left between you and that license is your internship. And it’s a lot, but you will get there!

Who do you supervise?

I offer supervision for LPC-Interns and LMFT-Associates. If you are interested in private practice, I am looking for Interns and Associates – even if you plan to work for an agency to start out. I am invested in helping you grow as a therapist and in helping you lay out your plans for marketing and managing a private practice.

What are you looking for in a supervisee?

I work best with supervisees who are focused on excellence in therapy, aware of private practice concerns, and willing to learn as they work with individuals and families. My role is part mentor, part consultant and part therapist as we navigate together the clinical and therapeutic sides of being a therapist. My goal is to make supervision fun and thorough, and to provide a solid backup for you as you explore your new skills as a therapist.

What format do you use and what are your fees?

I see supervisees for a mixture of individual supervision and group supervision, for a total of 4-6 hours per month.
My fee is $360 per month for one license, $400 per month for dual.

Where is supervision?

As of 2022, supervision is 100% online.

What are your areas of practice and specific training?

I have 30 years experience working with individuals and couples dealing with marriage issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, family-of-origin issues, etc. Specifically, for couples, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman methods, and Discernment Counseling. For both couples and individuals I am trained in Polyvagal Theory and love to apply Interpersonal Neurobiology, Polyvagal Theory and related approaches for almost all clients. Give me a call, and let’s see whether we are a good fit!
